This weekend my husband and i went to the farmers market. The one we have in town is pretty small but we both enjoy going there to get our veggies and other local goodies. There is one vendor in particular that i look forward to seeing every year, ' The Peach Guy' as i call him. He sells the most delicious white peaches that i have ever had. Two of those babies became peach crisps, i love those so much, i could eat it everyday. They are scrumptious. You should definitely give this recipe a try. It's my version of a crisp.
Ingredients:
2 white peaches ( diced)
1 teaspoon of flour
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
For the topping:
1/4 cup of flour
1 tablespoon of cold butter (diced)
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Top each of the ramekin with a little piece of butter
Bake them at 350 for 35 mins.
Mix all the ingredients together except for the topping in a bowl.
In a different bowl, mix all the ingredients for the topping. I used my hands until everything is nice and crumbly. Fill the ramekins with the peach mixture and finish with the toppings.
