HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Hi everyone, today is a busy day for me. I have to do a lot of food prepping for tomorrow as I am feeding 12 people. But I love doing all that cooking, it gets me in the holiday spirit. I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and I hope that you have a great time with family and friends. My parents are very far away and  they will be missed terribly at our dinner table but we will have another Thanksgiving dinner when they visit in 2 weeks. I absolutely love this holiday, unfortunately growing up in Mauritius we don't celebrate it . It really is a shame. It is so good to be able to take a day out of the year and really being grateful for everything in our lives. I think of it as a holiday for the soul. Everyone is usually so busy and always thinking about the next thing that sometimes we forget to be grateful and appreciate what we have, and to me, that's my family!
