ROASTED POBLANO MAC N CHEESE

It has been a while since I have put a recipe on the blog and I wanted to share this one . It is really good, not too spicy, ooey and gooey and it is one of my hubbys' favourite. Mac and Cheese has always been one of the dishes that says comfort food to me and it's so appropriate for this cold weather.

Diced 1 roasted poblano and 5 sprigs of green onions.

In a pot melt 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of flour.Whisk it together.

                                                       
Add 2 1/2 cups of milk( i used 2%) , salt and pepper.Whisk it all and let simmer until it barely starts to boil.


Add 1cup of extra sharp cheddar. Whisk it again and turn off the heat.

Add the green onion and poblano and the cooked pasta.

Lastly I top it with 1/2 cup of cheese.


 Ingredients:
1 roasted poblano 
5 sprigs of green onion
1 1/2 cup of extra sharp cheddar cheese
1 box of pasta
2 1/2 cups of milk (2%)
Salt and pepper
