FIG TART

So last night, I finally decided to make this fig tart that I've been imaging for months now. I had everything I needed to make it, I honestly don't' know why it took me so long. I am a fig lover, I love them any which way possible and don't get me started on fig jam, I have 4 jars sitting in my pantry right now. I keep getting them at homegoods, they are just so good!
p.s I love them in crepes ;)

Ingredients:

1 Pie crust (store-bought)
1 package of cream cheese softened
2 tablespoons of sour cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of Fig Jam
2 eggs (room temperature)
2 oz bag of dried figs

Direction:
1. Place the crust in pie dish, I use it to make sure the cream cheese mixture doesn't run over
2. In a bowl, place the cream cheese, sour cream, vanilla extract, fig jam, sugar  and eggs.
3. Mix it all until it's smooth
4. Pour the mixture in the pie crust
5. Slice the dried figs and place them on top of the cream cheese mixture
6. Lastly fold the edges slightly onto the mixture
7. Bake at 350 for 30 mins( I use a convection oven so for those who don't, leave it a little longer until the cream cheese is set)
8. When the Tart is out, brush some fig jam everywhere, so it glistens and looks pretty
