CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL

As you know this weekend was the cherry blossom festival.  After all those years of living in VA, being so close to Washington DC, we had never been to this festival. Honestly I like staying away from big crowds on hot days. Having people bump into you is not fun at all. But for some reason this year we said to yourselves why not go. Can I just say that I'm glad we went, the crowd was not as bad as we thought, the weather was just splendid. Perfect for a long walk along the Title Basin. We went to the Wharf and took a look around the fresh seafood and went to this very cute place called The cantina. I wished I had taken more pictures but we were busy just taking it all in and just enjoying this day.
