FRIDAY IS HERE WITH SOME GRILLED PIZZA

I have been trying to refrain myself and not post any recipes but I just cannot help it. Everyone that knows me, knows that food is a big part of my life. I love cooking and baking and somehow part of me wonder if I should have made this a food blog instead but then I know that I would be missing out. Deep inside I know that I wanted to have an outlet to share whatever my heart desires whether it's food, fashion or beautiful decor or just every day life stuff. I didn't want to limit myself. I am not a fashion blogger by all means but fashion is something that I love. This little blog of mine has brought me lots of happiness. Anyways I digress, let's get on that recipe, shall we? Grilled pizza! Yes! I love pizza on the grill during the summer, It's so easy to make and it's so good.

Ingredients:

PIZZA:

Pizza Dough ( I bought one from the grocery store but you can make your own)
1 cup of italian 6 cheeses mix
10 slices of spanish chorizo ( sliced thin)
6 slices of pancetta
1 tablespoon of garlic butter ( grate 1/2 clove of garlic into 1 tablespoon of butter)
**If you want to skip the butter just replace it with olive oil for a healthier approach
1 cup of spring mix lettuce

TOMATO SALAD:

1/2 pint of cherry tomatoes
Handful of basil leaves
1/2 clove of garlic grated
1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar

DIRECTION:

Put all the meats in a pan and crisp them . Also cut the tomatoes in half in a separate bowl, add the garlic, basil and balsamic vinegar and let it sit while you make the pizza.

Roll the pizza dough to about 1/4 inch .

Place it on the hot grill, don't worry about putting oil on it, it won't stick. Just cover it and let it cook

You know that it's ready to flip when the pizza looks like the picture above and has nice grill mark on it on the bottom.

As soon as you flip it, put the garlic butter all over, add the cheese and the meats. It will cook so fast. Cover it and check it in 5 mins.

When the pizza looks like this, remove it from the grill. top it with the greens and enjoy it with some tomato salad.

It's so good, it is a must do. The basil and the tomatoes work like magic and bring so much freshness to this pizza. It's an explosion of flavour in your mouth. Of course you can substitute with any kind of cured meats.

XOXOXO
