EL TROPICO MIAMI

Hello friends! I am back as promised to tell you for quick bites in Miami. Cliff did some research and found this little local place where they say the food was authentic cuban and delicious. The name is El Tropico, located in North Beach. I have to be honest here, I was a little nervous but I am so glad my hubby found this little place.
The restaurant was pretty small and the waiter was very courteous. We had empanadas, I thought that we were going to get 3 little guys but when the order came ,we were both shocked. They were huge! And really inexpensive. The picture doesn't do it justice on how big they were. Also might I add that they were so good, perfect dough, the filling was delicious. We also had our first cuban coffee there, can I just say "wow" this coffee was so good but the shot of alcohol completely took me by surprise. I was going to combine all the food posts in one but the post was going to be way too long. So I will be back tomorrow for more food.
