Good morning everyone! I have been MIA and I am so sorry for this long silence. I have been so sick as soon as I got home. Unfortunately I have not been very lucky when traveling the past couple of years, I seem to end up sick. I really want to make sure that I take better care of myself. I am not a big fan of going to the DR's office honestly. Unfortunately this time around, I had to pay my doctor a visit and he told me I had strep throat! I have never had that before and the pain is real friend! I wanted to share what usually helps me.
Oranges, lots and lots of them. I try to have one with every meal.
1 packet of Vitamin C everyday while being sick
Green Tea with Honey
I also have 4 cups of hot water with honey a day, it helps so much with my throat and coughing, I love green tea but somehow having too much of it while being sick makes my stomach raw.
Lots and lots of water, it really helps with my sore throat
Lastly some chicken soup, I can honestly say that there is something magical about chicken noodle soup when I am sick. I think it's something in the broth but my body thanks me every time when I have it while being sick.
But most importantly, don't forget to go see your doctor if you are very sick. This is something that I have learnt this time around and not hold on to see if I get well on my own. I really hope that this post helps you if you are also sick. Stay warm everyone!
