Ingredients:
1/2 lbs of shrimp (cleaned and deveined)
1 tilapia filet (any mild white fish will do or you can do just shrimp or just fish)
1 tablespoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
salt & pepper
1/4 cup or more of all purpose flour
1 jar of tomtom sauce
Green onion
Direction:
- Cut the fish in chucks.
- Season the fish and shrimp with the salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder
- Give it a good mix
- Add the flour to them, mix it all very well
- If the seafood isn't well coated with the flour, add a little more
- Let it stand for 5 mins
- In a warm pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil and add the shrimp first one by one in small batches about 5 at a time.
- When the shrimp start turning pink , you know it's time to turn them and when they are cooked, remove them from the pan and set them on a plate. They should be nice and crispy!
- Do the same with the fish, cooking them in batches and put them on plate when they are cooked.
- Reduce the heat, add everything back in the pan, add the sauce, give it a good stir and let it simmer for 2-3 mins.
- Top with some green onions and serve!
